Dr. Komal Lamba
Founder and General Dentist
Meet Dr. Lamba, the heartbeat of Canary Dental. She grew up in Hamilton, studied at McMaster University, and went on to earn her dental degree in Cork, Ireland. Along the way, she paired her love of travel with her passion for giving back, even setting up clinics in Ghana to provide care for underserved communities.
Here at Canary Dental, Dr. Lamba is known for her contagious energy and calming presence. She provides comprehensive care for her patients, including Invisalign treatment and Botox therapy, always with a focus on comfort. Nervous about the dentist? Two minutes with her and you’ll wonder why you ever worried. Patients leave happier and looking forward to their next visit.
When she’s not in the studio, you’ll find her kayaking, hiking, or chasing her two little sidekicks, Sayva and Zoraver. A true foodie, she’s always ready with a new recipe or restaurant recommendation and would love to hear yours, too!

Born and raised in Toronto, Dr. Lim grew up watching his granduncle build a dental practice on trust, hard work, and genuine care. That early spark shaped his path, from Western University to earning his DDS at the University of Toronto, and now to helping patients feel at ease in the chair.
Dr. Lim has advanced training in root canals and a passion for making even the most complex treatments feel comfortable and stress-free. He’s also volunteered in Cambodia, Peru, and Panama, providing much-needed dental care to communities with limited access. He also gives back as a part-time clinical instructor at the University of Toronto, mentoring the next generation of dentists.
Outside the studio, you’ll usually find him on the move, working out, golfing, or out with his dog, Summer. He’s also a big traveler. Come swap adventure stories with him and chat about your favourite travel destinations!

In 2021, he made his way back home and couldn’t be happier to be caring for patients in Toronto again.
His journey has also taken him abroad, providing dental care to rural communities in China and Nigeria. Always eager to grow, Dr. Young has advanced training in implants, complicated wisdom teeth removal, and restorative dentistry. It’s all part of ensuring his patients get the very best care!

Dentistry runs in the family for Dr. Miloš Plestic. Inspired by his father, he’s been honing his skills since an early age and takes pride in taking a personalized approach. Whether it’s a cosmetic touch-up, restorative work, or an unexpected dental emergency, you can expect genuine connection and individualized care.
After graduating from the University of Novi Sad in Serbia in 2015, Dr. Plestic worked alongside his father in their family practice before moving to Canada. He became a certified General Dentist with the RCDSO in 2021 and has been dedicated to Toronto smiles ever since.
Dr. Plestic believes dentistry is a lifelong learning journey. He regularly takes advanced courses to sharpen his skills and stay on top of the latest in dental care. Outside the studio, you’ll find him sailing, cycling, painting, or experimenting with new cocktails. Ask him about his latest creation; chances are, it’ll make you smile.
