How nitrous oxide works

Nitrous oxide, better known as laughing gas, is breathed in through a small mask over your nose. It settles in within a few minutes, leaving you relaxed and comfortable while you stay fully awake and able to chat with us.

When the mask comes off, it clears just as quickly. Most patients feel like themselves within minutes and head straight back to their day. That is what makes it the easiest option to fit into an ordinary Tuesday.
